Position Type: Part-Time (Every other Saturday + flexible on-call hours)

Part-Time Salon Receptionist (Alternate Saturdays)
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Part-Time Receptionist to join our salon team every other Saturday. This position is perfect for a seasoned professional looking for occasional, steady hours in a vibrant and busy environment. Because our needs can shift, the ideal candidate will have the flexibility to pick up additional weekday or Saturday shifts as needed.
Please Note: Due to specific scheduling and experience requirements, this position is not well-suited for high school students, current cosmetology students, or recent graduates.
Key Responsibilities
- The Face of the Salon: Greet clients and visitors with a warm, professional, and upscale attitude.
- Phone & Scheduling: Manage phone lines, handle client inquiries, and accurately schedule appointments.
- Digital Organization: Utilize our salon computer systems for scheduling, checking clients in/out, and handling basic data entry.
- Flow Management: Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and running smoothly during peak Saturday rushes.
- Salon Support: Perform light cleaning and salon laundry as needed to maintain a pristine environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven track record in a front desk, receptionist, or heavy customer-facing role.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new salon scheduling or POS software quickly.
- Communication: Exceptional phone etiquette and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptability: A thrive-under-pressure mindset for a bustling atmosphere, paired with the scheduling flexibility to take on extra hours when they arise.
